Mojacar is located on the south-east coast of Spain 50 minutes drive from the airport in Almeria. The old village is perched on the mountain just a few kilometres inland from the beaches on the coast. This part of Spain averages, 3000 hours of sunshine per year and with hot summers and mild winters, Mojacar's climate is great in Europe.
Mojacar has a great selection of restaurants, which cater for different tastes from traditional Spanish through to English, Italian and Chinese.
The beaches are the major attraction of the area and you will not run out as there are almost 17km of them to explore. The new Paseo Maritimo (promenade) has been built and makes the whole area seem much smarter. The old village still features a working fountain, which fresh, mountain spring water flows from.
Vera is just up the coast from Mojacar and the drive is a very plesant one!
