Rojales Property for sale
If you are visiting Spain and you like the hustle and bustle of the areas like Torrevieja, Guardamar, Elche, and Alicante, but need to slow things down a bit for a few days, you might consider a trip to Rojales. Rojales is a Spanish village not unlike others that you may see along the way, but it has a much slower pace than some of the other towns in the area. Many tourists enjoy the slower pace in Rojales, simply strolling down the streets, walking into restaurants for a glass of wine, stopping in local shops, and mingling with the residents. The village has developed a reputation for being very safe for tourists to walk around and enjoy the area.
While in Rojales, you can experience some local culture by visiting the market each week, which will introduce you to any number of edible items, clothing, jewellery, knick-knacks, and souvenirs. The market can be quite a bit of fun for tourists in Rojales, as it is in most of the towns on the Costa Blanca. Rojales also has fiestas that celebrate their Saints’ days, which can provide a new experience for tourists. Many like Rojales because they can take in the beauty of the area, without being followed by vendors, as is the case in other towns on the Costa Blanca.
There are many opportunities for entertainment in Rojales, which include golf at the La Marquesa Golf and Country Club, great cafes where tapas, local beer, and wines are offered, and lots of shopping. Many orange, lemon, and almond groves are nearby, as well, which can be a lot of fun to visit and a nice way to purchase fresh produce. Rojales is a lovely home base during your stay on the Costa Blanca, as you can easily access other towns such as Orijuella, Cartagnena, and Crevillente by taking the A7 bypass on the outskirts of town. The N322 highway will take you in the other direction on a scenic route along the coast toward Cabo Roig and La Manga.
