It gets hot in Spain over the summer months and air conditioning is a must for your new home. Air conditioning can be installed as two different systems. The first is a stand alone unit that can be placed on the top of a wall in the room of your choice. It will generally only cool the room it is placed unless you have a total open plan living space. The second option is a full system, which has ducting in most of your rooms. You need to be able to spare 6-7in drop in your ceiling and you will need somewhere to install the pump system, generally in your bathroom. Many new homes and off plan properties come with pre installed air con, which mean all the ducting and wiring is in place you hust need to buy the units and get it installed by a professional.
